Current Projects and Programs:

1. Administer funding and enlist volunteers to organize neighborhood-based emergency preparedness centers.
2. Coordinate an annual San Carlos city wide garage sale in October.
3. Provide publicity and community outreach to encourage residents to complete Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training.
4. Provide funding to Master Gardeners who volunteer time to maintain potted plants attached to light poles in the Laurel Street downtown area.
5. Provide funding and volunteers to assist San Carlos Green in its programs to establish San Carlos as a model “green city.”
6. Provide funding and volunteers to initiate a “First Night” New Year’s Eve celebration as a community-builder for families in San Carlos and neighboring communities.
7. Assist the San Carlos Trails Committee in attracting volunteers and funds for trail construction in the open space areas of San Carlos.
